I stumbled across another 1/2 case today.
Guess I have another few days to enjoy this.

Delicious oaked session pale ale. Really nice flavor balance of oak and cascade hop flavors with some bready malts. Nice and crisp/smooth drinker. Minimal complaints honestly, which I why I got more. A flavorful/balanced session ale.

Another delicious pale ale from Shorts. Summit hops are nice and brightly citrusy/piney/tropical with some moderate pale/bready malt balance. Seriously no complaints for a pale ale at all really.

Always great and freshly available IPA. One of my favorite lower ABV IPAs of all time. Super bright grapefruit/tangerine/lemon/orange peel hops with light-moderate bready malt presence. Crisp and smooth drinking. Lagunitas has many of my #1 out of state go-to beers for good reason. They rule.

...... my stout-for-all runback with warmed nightcaps
    [IMG]
the 10-fidy evinced a noticeable licorice that was not there when cold (so for everyone who "hates sweet stouts" go get yerself the 10-F, it won't let you down even in the long run....awesome imperial in the classic style ..... folks, the best way to ruin a nice SNCoffeeStout is to surround it with 10-F and Expedition .... it was like GuinnessDraught in comparison to them ...... then on to the lasts
    [IMG]
funny, but the GFES kept coming with a sort of sour-malt/sour-mash sort of overtone that didn't diminish when warmed, not the kind of effect I was anticipating, but damn if the ole' Guinness didn't keep making itself known ..... finally, the true capper is the standout in this bunch, the Expedition is still noticeably the biggest, softest nose of the bunch, and still bringing a really bitter chocolate with roasted underbelly even when warmed to medium. Expedition, I'm so glad I took my time with you on stout day ... many happy returns.
To think I was going to indulge in a full-on dinner w/ grass-fed beef on sauteed veggies ..... alas, I was too pissed and settled for a bohemian bacon/cheese/broccoli mish-mash instead. Here's to sober chefs .... and to bitter stouts! Cheers all.

So apparently today was International Stout Day, thanks to @thatoneguymike I had a nice arsenal to choose from. Warmed up with Terrapin's Liquid Bliss (I know it's a porter, but it was delicious) then jumped into the big boys. Progressed left to right and now binge watching Brew Dogs and finishing with my current favorite beer, Xocoveza.
