Here is the last one. A little flat. It is my dregs from my bottling today. A harvest ale with Munich malt, honey malt, sweet potatoes, and pumpkin. A little spice was added and today it was primed with maple syrup. Tastes very very good.

I feel they have two of the worst voices in rock history. (Ozzy, Brian Johnson, and Dave Mustaine are on the list, no doubt.) That doesn't mean they weren't amazing for what they did; Plant's charisma and attitude (sex appeal, if you go that way) were phenomenal. And talent? They had loads of talent.

But just pure voice? The timbre, the tone, the sound? Nails on a chalkboard, to me.

Maine Lil One American Strong Ale. Their description on this beer is correct…I really can't tell if this is a malty DIPA or a hoppy barleywine. The beer is wonderfully balanced. The simcoe, centennial, cascade, and falconer's flight hops add a big big juicy, citrusy, and piney presence. Also big, sweet carmel and brown sugar, along with some breadiness. Some slight booze taste, but that is expected for 9.1%. Maine has a knack for making extremely well balanced beers and this one is no exception. Cheers!!

Rog, this is the beauty of music. None of us are wrong and none of us are right. I prefer Jagger meself. But Otis Redding and Bob Seger may have the purest voices of them all. and Paul Rodgers. I think Dylan and Neil Young are better singers than Caruso, but what do I know? (and yes, I like Brian more than the Australian dude that drank himself to death whilst vocalizing Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheep. Bon Scott).

Oh man I hope to get to try the barrel-aged version of Peche someday. Barrel-aged or not, it's a killer beer.
