A Little Sumpin' Wild with very fresh whitetail tenderloins. Perfect!

Just did a blind light lager tasting. Here's the aftermath - favorite to least favorite, left to right:

Vunderbar from Smuttynose was my favorite by a good amount - a fantastic pils. Methode was a lot more zesty than I remembered - easily stuck out from the crowd. Yella Pils is a solid pilsner, the maltiest of the group. The bottom 3 were a good deal below the top 3, but Dos Equis Special surprised me a little - not as bad as I thought. I threw them in the lineup to make sure I wasn't being irrationally biased against macros and AAL's. I wasn't.

One more? Yeah, one more. First time in this area, so I picked up Evil Twin's I Love You With My Stout at the LBS.

Damn thick and sweet. Very interesting, perhaps unique. A little hot and boozy, but it's also 12%, so...

    Cheers!

Good evening fellow ba's! Just finished doing a little food/beer shopping and back home now. Got some new beers ive never tried before today. Excited to do a little tasting tonight, 1st one up is surly's bender. Very tasty, this one is my warm up beer while I wait for my backwoods bastard's and my bottle of unicorns revange to chill out. Interesting beer right here, I like how light the body is and how easy it is to drink! Lots of caramel and coffee notes in smell and taste. I dig it!
