    Southern Tier de Garde. 8.1% ABV with all those grapefruit hop notes and a touch of apricot. Tasty. That is my homemade Jambalaya in the slow cooker behind it. May not be the best pairing but I have been looking forward to it all day.

    Drank a bunch of Oktoberfest beers this fall and absolutely fell in love with Big Eddy's Uber-Oktoberfest.
    So much so I'm trying to find something like it that is available year round. This one is available year round.

    Not impressed. :slight_frown: Not as sweet, and has the noble hops flavor going on. Still looking.

    This may sound like BA blasphemy, but I'm not impressed. It's got a ton of dark, overripe fruit going on. There's not nearly as much chocolate as I would expect based on the name.

    It's a good standard RIS, but nothing special to me.
