    Another new one I wasn't expecting a whole lot from yet I'm completely blown away by how good this is. Nice, thick mouthfeel with a ton of milk chocolate and just enough burn from the whiskey barrel to knock it out of the park. Def gonna try to find some more of this. Hope you're all enjoying a lazy Sunday. Cheers.

    Half Acre Heyoka IPA. Made with Chinook and Amarillo hops and won a silver medal at the 2014 GABF. This does live up to the hype IMO. Lots of Chinook character, as I get pine resin, lemon zest, and grapefruit zest and a pretty abrasive bitterness for an IPA. The Amarillo does add some sweeter flavors of orange juice and mango notes towards the finish and there is some ever-so slight honey sweetness and cracker malt to balance everything out. Another world class IPA from Half Acre.
