man, i was really drunk on saturday. did some train rides with our daughter, then hit up a couple breweries out in lancaster, pa for a few hours. once we got home is when it went downhill. i blame bronce.

 

I drank a little too much on Saturday as well. But, I blame it on having 2 glasses of bourbon to end my night or should I blame Bronce as well.

 

definitely not the bourbon. fucking bronce.

Well I thought someone was messing with me at work. I get up to go get something off the printer and I stop in my tracks......and laugh......and try to figure out who would try to scare me.

I walk up to it and it moves!!

Baby garter snake........in our building. No idea how it got there or what it was trying to do. I checked to make sure it was a garter snake and then caught it in a legal size envelope. Little bugger is only 7 inches long, but heck it was a live snake in my office. Don't you wish you worked here @jshusc ?

 

Okay CPA folks (@Houser @zekeman17 @Mipper @PA-Michigander @Lehighace06 et al.), I will be back in CPA this week through Saturday (driving back on Sunday, weather permitting) and am mentioning this for two important reasons.

One: Who wants to hit up Al's, probably on Saturday (if they're open), for a little meet-up and/or a SMALL share somewhere? I plan to bring a few things with me, but if you want me to pick anything up, I'll grab some stuff on my way out of town and #gopickitup within reason.

Two: Where should I go in/around CPA to procure bourbon county beverages on black Friday? I would like to ideally get a 4-pack of Coffee; a 4-pack of regular; and a shot at variant(s), especially vanilla rye. I'm willing to join in on your missions to procure such beverages or to set out on my own, but would appreciate some guidance regarding the local beer environment.

 

@Houser, @zekeman17, and I are really SEPA not CPA. That said, I recommend you come TO SEPA for a small share. I can't help you with BCBS in CPA, and at this point am getting more bad news than good so I'm not sure I can even help you with SEPA locations.

 

SEPA is as good as CPA for me. I'm probably technically SCPA, honestly. I'm very willing to drive to SEPA and wait hours as necessary, and would of course be in for a share. I plan to bring my one Moohoochiato because I feel like that's a tick others might want; I'll try to grab a Moohoo for reference. I am getting 2 (of 9) boxes from CA with my cellar in them today, so I'll have to see what else comes in. I'm excited to see what bottles I have!

Let's get a BM fired up about a SEPA share... any night can work for me, although I'd prefer not too early on Thursday night for obvious reasons.

 

I really don't know what to say guys... I won my first LIF and it was the most amazing thing I have ever won.. This is pretty much the best gift I could have gotten. The generosity from this group is just amazing. @treshojas you honestly out did yourself. Thank you so much

Ugh. Fuzzy baby ducks. While it's a fantastic brew the line at the open was 1:45. When I left was easily 3+ hours. And unfortunately they killed the limit to 2 those 8 growler fills days are over
