    lol don't mind me, i been drinkin' since early,,, plus i'm a city slicker. dat barrel looks semi pointed in the direction the camera had to be facing. glad your dog appears well behaved. first thing came to mind, looking at the image was : you better be glad he ain't Dick Cheney!:grinning:

    More Schlafly TIPA. It's dated 10/29, so some would probably say its getting a little old. So, I'll just have to drink it all as soon as possible. It's a struggle sometimes.

    I read yor review and glad you enjoyed this ale. It is pretty sweet (but not in a tropical stout way) but is also pretty dry. Very little in the way of dark fruit notes that you would expect from either a Foreign Stout or Tropical Stout. Yet having said that this is a stout for me. This beer was originally brewed as a porter at lower abv then they increased the alcohol to 7% abv.

    It is too small to be a Foreign Extra Stout and to big (abv) to be a porter.

    I'm glad you enjoyed it. The brewery is located down the road from me in Haifa Valley.
