    Good morning, Sunday morning topers! I'm getting my morning coffee fix right now, courtesy of Sierra Nevada:

    Last night, two friends of mine and I had a tasting. I got back too late to share the pic, but I'll do so now:

    Left to right: Barreled Souls Big Bang barleywine, Barreled Souls Pumpkin is the New Black BA pumpkin ale, Rockmill Dubbel, Rockmill Celebration BBA Dubbel, Bruery Sucre, and Allagash Ghoulschip.

    (No, we did not finish off either of the howlers; just enough for a 5oz pour each). Some potent stuff in there, and I got to add both of the Barreled Souls beers to BA. Sucre was phenomenal.

    Since each of those beers was new to me, I'll be posting some thoughts over on New Beer Sunday once it goes live (along with a new beer I have set aside to review today). Come join us a little bit later if you're trying a beer that's brand new to you, and you'd like to tell us about it!

    Yeah @Bitterbill was sying the same. It is pretty decent was also a random gift from our friends in The Netherlands who sent over a goodies package to my wife after the birth of our son. Beer was for me chocolate was for her excellent division of labour... :wink::grinning:

    pssst . . . don't tell the other thread that I already started drinking the beer. Way hey and up she rises early in the morning ...that's me singing=)

    I have @Roguer to thank for my beer today and since we are a little bit rowdier over here I thought I would tell you that the Captains Daughter is a comely wench. A bit pockmarked but spirited and lively. What a soft and becoming sweetness in such a bold tart! She left me with a bitter taste in my mouth and a grin on my face. I would gladly wake up next to her any day. To our very own drunken sailor @Roguer !
