    I'm having the second largest selling beer in Sweden. 5.3% abv, 12% OG, 23 IBUs, 80% pilsner malt and 20% munich malt. Hop extract, Hallertauer Magnum, Perle and Spalter Select hops. I think it's a really tasty beer and I'm always happy when this is the beer being served at a family function. The brewery behind it were responsible for bringing back all-malt beers to Sweden in the 80s, and they brew the cleanest (and I would argue tastiest) lager beers of all the Swedish macros. The malt is rather pronounced and bready, almost to the point of being sweet, but the bitterness manages to keep it in check and prevents it from being sweet, despite a modest 23 IBUs. There's also some herbal hoppiness in the background to round out the flavor. As far as a pale lager beer is concerned this is a well rounded beer and if the international brands tasted like this I think there would be much less reason for people to abandon them, or they'd at least keep them in rotation.

    TGIF BAs! 32d F and cloudy in New Buffalo, MI tonight. Took the fam over to Michigan City, IN for a little Christmas shopping this afternoon. I was at the beer store last night and ended up getting another six of this. No complaints.
