    Preparing for a night out at a Christmas party held at a local restaurant. They have some nice beers on tap - Berkshire Brewing and Long Trail are always featured, with other local brands rotated in and out. This IPA from Lakefront has a nice hoppy flavor, and is a great primer for what should be a fun night.

    One of Short's 'experiments' I didn't care for back in the summer, not doing it for me now either. Even time and holiday cheer can't smooth out this messy cinnamon bomb. Maybe I'll substitute the remaining ones for the lumps of coal I planned to distribute.

    I just picked up some Night Shift Morph IPA. They change up the recipe for every successive run and this one's got a beautiful tropical emphasis. Is it mango? Passionfruit? I don't know, but it's soft and delicious. I'm pleased to have found it just six days old.

    I'm also pleased that my gf's getting home from a weeklong business trip tonight. She just texted me from some Virginia airport to say she couldn't get an earlier flight so she's cooling her jets (so to speak) at the bar; she's already a bit inebriated, she said, and she encouraged me to follow her example. What a woman!
