    To be fair, they typically don't drink to get drunk. The Euro's are more...refined(?) than us brutish Americans.

    I've never attended an EPL game (match?), but I'm going to say that is probably a myth. What's the point of drinking if you aren't getting the buzz? That's like drinking decaf coffee.

    Well, all of my dark beers are in my cellar and the wife is napping up there, so best not wake the woman.
    Sorry, this isn't a very dark one and sorry, I don't have a set of tig ole bitties to poach "likes". But what I do have is a great new Quad for me...

    Where is the "unlike" button?
    The 9ers suck sweaty balls. Their O-line was terrible all year, they've consistently been getting too many penalties and my one excuse is that their D has been plagued by injuries and just plain dumb-assedness. Look it up, it's a word!
    That being said, we do have three World Series rings in a five year period and the Dubs are looking pretty solid. So there's that...

    Well, I'm not a Giants fan, so that doesn't give me any solace. All I know is that between the ridiculous penalties (I'm certain - though biased - that we lead the league in TDs called back from offensive penalties), the injuries, and the inconsistent play (can Kap learn to throw with any freaking touch???), it's been a terrible year.

    ....not to mention that we're not quite 2 years removed from losing the 1st Super Bowl in franchise history. :slight_frown: 5 for 6 now.
