I can't imagine shotgunning a can of Bigfoot, but hell, I'd sure be willing to try!

RE: P.S. Cans will be slow at first but as we qualify our canning line here in Mills River they will get more common after the first of the year.

RE: P.P.S. Old Chico is a series of beers we created for our home town fans. Essentially it's a lot of pub favorite beers that have been draught only at the brewery that the folks who stop by often have come to know and love. The Old Chico series is available in NorCal essentially from the Bay Area up, but for a sure bet, come up to Chico proper.

Actually sneaking Nooner is not allowed. Go Big! Strap a half-barrel onto your cart and fly the flag!

I would love to do that, problem is MI law requires that all alcohol consumed on a golf coure(if they sell alcohol) bepurchased at the golf course. It's a racket. So sneaking it on is the way to go:slight_smile:
Unless the course doesn't sell alcohol then I could strap a keg on to the cart. Oh shit I just thought of something, my parents live on an island in Northern MI, have their own golf cart, store it at the local course which doesn't sell alcohol. I could actually do this!!!

I would fully support the idea of a variety pack like this as long as Celebration was replaced with something else, because I really cannot stand that beer.

OT: I am eagerly awaiting this Nooner Pilsner.

If SN lives up to its high expectations I have for them like they usually do, I will have a new go-to.

This just posted on the Sierra Nevada Facebook page!

"Folks, it's not every day (or even every year) that we introduce a year-round brew. So we are pretty excited about Nooner Pilsner, our hoppy take on the classic session beer. On shelves soon, available all year long!"

    Looking good!
Better than the mock-up that appeared earlier at http://beerstreetjournal.com/sierra-nevada-nooner-pilsner-cans/

It's hard to describe how excited I am for this beer. I love a good pilsner more than most, I love Sierra Nevada more than most, and I also love the canning trend more than most. Add all three together and you have a beer that will likely be in my fridge 100% of the time.

Just saw this advertized in NY, 9.99 6 pack, hope it comes in 12pack as well as would be great to have in fridge come spring

Wonder how it'll be packaged. Normal rings or pak techs? Maybe a boxed up can?

Feel like this is a law most places. They gotta bleed you dry for every dollar they can because the $60 prime rate on a local dog track isn't cutting it.

Golf is effectively pricing itself out of the market. People don't have that much disposable income to spend on slow, frustrating games anymore. I'd almost rather hit a bucket of balls than endure a mid summer 5.5 hour round of golf at this point.

It's available to distributors now. Can't say for sure when they'll have it in stock, but we've been shipping it for two weeks.

This will be in 6-pack bottles (regular Sierra setup) and 12-pack cans. Also draught.

This just popped up in my area today. I'll be grabbing some before the weekend is out. It'll go nicely with the 2015 4-way IPA pack I picked up just a few days ago.

Ran into these when I wasn't expecting to and couldn't buy any. I hope to this week, though. @sierranevadabill - how would you compare Nooner to Summerfest?
