    Not the best Doppelbock I've had, but definitely not bad either. I'm a sucker for things I haven't seen before.

    It's also pretty good for keeping me warm on my last day of mini-vacation. It's finally above zero again!

    Sorry - not very knowledgeable about spirits. Both the bottle and website just say "whiskey" which, to me, seems rather vague. But I would suspect that the lack of specificity would imply old Four Roses barrels (or something of that caliber) rather than Wild Turkey or Jameson.

    Just reviewed OMB's Copper (4.26), a fine Altbier. Following that with Foothill's Jade, my highest rated IPA at 4.6. Jade is addictive...just like Amy (who just happens to favor the sultry label) and Lithium...

    Recently saw several BA's drinking this one, so when I saw it at the local TW I thought I'd give it a go. The aroma reminds me of smoked meat to the point I almost don't want to drink it. The taste is not as strong and I might finish it.
