Holy hell this is outstanding. Amazing appearance with dense lacing down the glass and lasting head retention. Bright citrusy/herbal hop aromas with moderate pale malt presence. Taste of big lemon, lime, grapefruit, orange zest, pineapple, melon, light pine and herbal/grassy hop earthiness with some cracker/biscuit malt balance. A fair amount of pine/grassy bitterness on the finish. Great juicy and bright hop flavors with a great balance of bitterness. Very smooth and crisp finish with some light hop stickiness. Farking fantastic beer. Bought a full 6 on a whim and it delivers a LOT. I might even buy more, but I have to go get a 6 of Nooner next.


Nice altbier. A pleasant but lightly muted nose consisting of balance dark/bready maltiness with balance fruity yeast and some herbal hops. Taste of caramel, toast, dark bread, honey, molasses, chocolate, light nuttiness, pear, apple, and herbal/grassy hops with yeast earthiness. Minimal bitterness on the finish. Good robustness of dark malt notes with the honey/molasses adjuncts with a good balance of yeast fruitiness as well. Ample carbonation but not over the top; a crisp finish with a light amount of creaminess. Overall nicely enjoyable and very drinkable. A unique style example.


A good tripel. Taste of apricot, pear, apple, white grape, light banana, pepper, clove, toast, biscuit, candi sugar, herbal, grass, and yeast earthiness. A light amount of earthy yeast spice on the finish. Some good balance and complexity of yeast and malty flavors. It's definitely on the sweet side for the style, but never cloying. Very smooth sipping for 9.5%. I liked it.
