Very drunk me thought it was a definite 4.5 on Saturday, but I definitely should prioritize reevaluating it at some point in the future. Fwiw I remember the taste fairly well (it was probably the best/only good IPA at that share) and think it would hold up to a more judicious evaluation.

Oh man... hopefully the fallen soldier wasn't anything too severe. No worries if you need to lay low for a while and miss the shipping window while you wait for the trail to go cold.

Do you like Mosaic? Then it's excellent. Having it from the bottle wasn't quite as good as I remember from having it on tap, but maybe it being 90 degrees out and it was my first taste of it, vs being schmammered, had something to do with it too.

 

I'm not as over-the-moon about Mosaic as a lot of people are/were last year, but I do think it's a good hop with a really unique spice presence that accentuates and changes a lot of what's going on around it in a way that many other hops don't, so I'll go with "yes, I like Moasaic" with the caveat that I'm not out looking for every IPA to be a Mosaic bomb.

 

There are some mofos in this thread that just have no friggin' clue how to do trades evidently.



@_RL_ asked me to send his brother 6 Event Horizon. No problem at all. Trade was setup for 6 EH for the left half of the picture (SSU, Tweak and Bomb!). And then I get the box, and even knowing that I'm really not going to be able to send extras since I'm sending to his brother and he friggin' sends the beer on the right? Who sends Avery Mephistopheles, BCBWx2, Christmas Bomb! and Double Duckpin as an extra? Who I ask? @_RL_ is who. That's crazy man! Sunny Side Up and Tweak are going with me to a bottle share tomorrow. Double Duckpin I'm considering drinking tonight still

 

Next up: I asked @Kramerbarthomer for a #pickitupformebro for Abyss, two for me, two fro a good friend of mine. And then he sends Saint Arnold Divine 14 and Sante Fe Imperial Java Stout as well? Seriously, who sends extras for a friggin' #pickitupformebro ? Can't wait to dig in to them (and dig into the Abyss in a year or so...)! Thanks man!

No one is remotely close for 3. My first hint is that I drank beer from this brewery before it was called Craft and was instead called micro. This brewery is still active.
