I've heard mixed things about retribution overall, but mostly positive. The only "review" I've seen in this thread said it was on par with parabola in a side by side, but there have been a few openings in the last day or two -- anyone care to say what they think? I have a bottle of the 2014 batch, and am not in a rush to open it, but just curious what others think.

NC just started being able to get Epic easily again for the first time in a while, at least in my part of the state. Big Bad Baptist and Elder Brett are pretty awesome to be able to drink whenever I feel like.

What's the price point? If this was on my local shelves, I wouldn't trade for a lot of different stouts. It has a whole lot of flavor in just 1 beer.

Looked for that one, but looked a little late. My regular shops had already sold out. Do you know any place that still has it?

Can't remember exactly even though I was just in the store a couple hours ago. Somewhere around $14-$17 I'm fairly certain.

Opened one today, - '13. Its good, but not even in the same league as Parabole IMHO. Thinner and beer & bourbon do not come together as well.

I enjoyed that one. It's like the closest thing we'll ever get to an IPA from The Bruery

Wait what did I have at Max's last spring/summer? Humulus Lager I think it was? I thought it was damn tasty though maybe not a traditional IPA.

That's true, forgot about one. They seem to like to make IPA-like beers without calling them IPAs, lol. This year we'll get a Humbles Rueuze... if its a dry hopped Rueuze I'm going to be in heaven.

I'm not sure without looking, which I'm not willing to do, what the style is but I remember the bartender being adamant that it wasn't an IPA. Seemed odd but it as a good beer. Dry hopped rueuze sounds good!

On the shelves in NOVA if you are coming down this way. I think $13 or so. I could pick you up some if you need me to.
