    Catching up from yesterday's trip to Roughtail Brewing's taproom. They've got some beers worth paying attention to.

    The flight was two brown ales with slightly different English yeasts. The first was a sweetish brown. Not bad, but the other was outstanding. Reminded me of Surly Bender, and very sessionable at 4.1 abv. Their Midpoint Imperial Coffee Stout was solid. The star of the trip was the 8.5 abv Gingerbread winter warmer. I thought it topped Nutcracker and SN Celebration, and was right up there with Abt. 12 Christmas and Mikkeller's Santa's Little Helper.

    On to today, Anthem's Count Pedro - a Belgian Strong Dark Ale with Habaneros aged in tequila barrels.

    Watching some football. Crazy early game. Hopefully the Pats - Colts game is just as good.

    Starting with a FIS. Bottled 12/10/14. Roasty, chocolate, and hoppy. Delicious.

    We're used to it. 4th and 26 against the Eagles in 2003. The Giants winning in 2007 at Lambeau... At least the Packers have 2 Superbowl wins in my lifetime.

    You're drinking an Ohio beer...trying to fit into a championship crowd? Sorry that was harsh...but when you can either cheer for the Buckeyes or the Browns...the choice is obvious. I'm so glad they bottled black rajah. Great hoppy black ale isnt it?

    I still have WI basketball. :wink: This is a nice BIPA. Karben4 has an incredible one called SIlk Scorpion that will be bottled at the end 2015. Cant' wait!

    Bissell Brother's Swish DIPA has quickly become one of my favorite beers. Enjoying my second to last one their initial release - I'll have to get more soon!
