Not as much as expected, but pretty nonetheless. Cheers.

It's been years since I've had one of these. Memory is correct, though—delicious.

Hope all you blizzard-bound are safe and sound!

We have about 16 hours to go and the snow is just over one Narwhal tall - that's a scientific measurement used for blizzards. Not sure if there is a better time for a stout than after shoveling snow. I have a feeling its going to take at least a few of theses before its all said and done… What a great Tuesday!

The snow continues to fall; I could now easily swim on my back deck. Took the dogs out for a walk; speaking of swimming, if you've ever seen a German shepherd move through about 18" of snow, he looks remarkably like a furry brown dolphin.

I think I've earned my next stout. Continuing to dive into my NBS BIF box; saving one more big, special beer for next Sunday.

This is a good choice for this weather. Cheers!

You must be on the eastern side of the state. We have gotten much less snow here in the NW corner. Maybe 7" so far.

Second blizzard beer. Trying to decide when would be the best time to shovel.

I saved this bottle, sent to me by papat444 in trade, to share with my son when he came home for a visit. I had wanted one of these for 25 years, as I helped introduce this beer to the states, by working on the US advertising at the brewery in Germany, way back in 1980. In fact the glasses were a gift to us from the brewery - we each got a dozen, along with some steins and mugs. The beer didn't take off as expected (it was originally distributed by Pabst), and hasn't been available here in this country since the late '80's. Fortunately, papat444 can get it in Quebec - Many Thanks!

Didn't get the two feet they were predicting but ended up with 10 inches. Driveway is clear and a path in the backyard is shoveled for the dog. Found this 4-pack yesterday while beer preparing for the storm. Hope all made out well.

Haven't seen that Narragansett brew around these parts yet. I've read many of Lovecraft's books of horror, so I must now try the beer named in his honor (he grew up & lived in Providence, RI).

SE corner, North of Mystic (in New London county). Normally, that means we get way less snow than the rest of the state (and way less good beer, for the record ). But this particular storm seems to be hitting the coastal areas worse.

Doesn't bother me; I've got today off, and I'm enjoying it.
