Found some warm 4 packs today and took drastic action in the form of a frozen stream out back to quick chill.

Utilizing available resources to achieve results. As tasty as it is good looking, loaded with resinous pine, and dank hoppy goodness. Another winner from Sixpoint! Now I need to work on some appropriate glassware if I'm going to become a fanboy.

    Cheers to this weeks halftime!

Gouden Carolus Noël (750 mL) (2014 Vintage). It was on sale for $5.99. One of the best Christmas beers out there IMO. Cheers!

One heck of a stout right here. Bought only one of these to age, but i figured I'll try it now to see if it's any good, and just pick up another one to age. I'm amazed by this right here, so complex, yet so insanely smooth and so drinkable. It's almost scary how easy to drink this is, could easily be mistaken for a 5% ABV stout. I can definitively tell that it is in need of some aging in order for the three additions of different barrel aging to be more prominent. Still a fantastic beer nonetheless, regardless of that.

    Cheers all.

Another liquid lunch @ The Ginger Man NYC. Not as whale-y as my post last week; these are more like beluga walez. They're cute and little:

    First, FW18:

Last week I grabbed the variety four pack of Boulevard Smokestack Series beers with matching glass for pretty cheap. I figured I'd get into em' now.

First is the Tank 7 Farmhouse Ale.

I am trying to have at least one of every recognized style of beer. I am close to the end of the quest I didn't even know I was starting all those years ago.
One style I had never properly tried was Euro strong lager, so that's why I had this:

I remember that being marketed as malt liquor back in the day. Needless to say me and the crew had a few rough experiences with that one before we knew better. Thanks for the memories!
