    Evil Twin Lil' B Imperial Porter. This one is dated 3/20/13, so almost 2 years old (as you can see by the dust on the bottle). It was great fresh, but some age has done it some good too. Milk chocolate, some slight dark chocolate, carmel, molasses, good amount of nuttiness, raisins/fig, licorice, coffee (roasted malts), some ever-so-slight smokiness. I can see how this is the base beer to Imperial Biscotti Break. The age has made this extremely smooth: drinks like 8%. Cheers everyone!

    What's bad is that I really see Roughtail as the one brewery that could expand their brand fairly fast. Their year-round beers are solid (they're moving Hoptometrist to year-round also), and their seasonal/one-off are top notch. They have a gingerbread one-off at their taproom that's as good as any winter warmer out there.

    Oh, speaking of Founders - Wee Heavy is what Backwoods Bastard wanted to be. The booze in that one just overpowered the base.

    Cracked open and split a few freshly conditioned bottles of homebrew with my buddy this evening (Oatmeal Pale Ale, Brown Ale, Honey Porter, and a Belgian Tripel (gift)). All exceeded expectations. ST 2XIPA in the middle, and finished off with a Narwhal. Excellent brew tour. Cheers!

    This Southern Tier Tripel Café ( Belgian Style Ale brewed with Green Coffee beans & orange peel ). Sounds weird, but going down nicely. Pretty sure this my night cap. LNBA4lyfe!!!
