here's a pro-tip with no consulting fee. you said she threatened to rip your face off if you showed up with 1 more glass? try this.

start yammering about you saw a whole box of random glassware you'd like to pick up. or better yet, some guy is selling his entire collection. that'll hit her : ► PLAY button. be prepared. the recording will go straight to the: RIP YOUR FACE OFF song. if you survive the song, try coming home with (1) glass, tell her you thought it over & she was right, it wasn't easy but you settled for 1 glass. she may still have steam billowing out her ears, but she'll likely feel like she won to some degree. sometimes we have create a "victory."

Then bring home the new glass and a bouquet of flowers.

Was blown away this week by the generosity of @spicoli00. This guy sent me a package of beers all the way to Israel at great effort and even greater expense.

After five years on BA looking at all the awesome US beers I finally can try some.
