How do you have 2015? Sweet, but not supposed to be out until 3/30/15 my birthday.

Happy NBS! I'm a big fan of these big, swarthy ET brews . This one doesn't disappoint. The quality of my picture (or lack thereof) does this beer's appearance no justice. It is opaque with a dark brown head. Aroma is sweet, light berry, coffee, chocolate and malts. Taste follows the nose. Very complex. I wish I could describe everything that's going on, that's probably why I rarely do reviews. The blueberries are present but not overpowering, but blending rather well with everything else going on this big brew. Mouthfeel is full and on the thicker side, slightly cloying. Carbonation is perfect, almost creamy. Overall, I'm a fan. I love big stouts, especially big sweet stouts that are complex yet balanced and that's just what you get with ET From Amager With Love.

First time with this one and it is amazing!

 

I wanted to have them both open at the same time. Not sure who the edge is too. I think I have to go with DD, simply due to its huge availability.

 

I like the Bourbon rum combo. Fusel alcohol has dialed down. Vanillin cinnamon bomb. better at room temperature

 

I like D. Duckpin because it's hop candy.

 

Quetzal. Bird spotted and picture taken in Costa Rica, 10 years ago.

 

Goose Island Sofie. I've been reluctant to buy any more GI after the Bud superbowl commercial, but my gf has been itching to try it. Pretty middle of the road. I was expecting more with the citrus and wine barrel aging. The wheat was a nice touch though.

 

I like the added citrus in it. I was pretty solid and I'm glad I got a sixer of it.

 

I have a little of Council's Stalemate DIPA in my glass tonight- A solid brew for sure. Really happy I had a chance to visit the brewpub recently!
