    Fun little winter seasonal from one of Virginia's best. Really pretty beer. Comparable with Bell's Christmas Ale. Actually, better! Cheers.

    Last beer of this Sunday? Possibly. This is Milk Chocolate Cherry Stout from Canteen Brewhouse (formely Il Vicino Canteen) in Albuquerque, New Mexico. One of the numerous breweries not named La Cumbre that are excellent around these parts.

    I had this on tap in NYC and fell in love with it. Took me a while to track down a few bottles but finally did. Looking forward to cracking one and giving it a proper review, but I share your sentiments about ET's stouts: they're their bread and butter. Really, all I care to drink from ET are their stouts, including this one.

    It has been a bit....since last visited...thank you for the patience/indulgence as I lay out my evening of quaff-osity

    had a good friend come over excited to share this trifecta (not being a big fan of Alaska samplings, I complied as a friend should)---Stout, not bad...the rest, not good

    And where's the parchment paper been all my life?!? Jesus ... my family RAN A DAMN BAKERY years and years back and grandma can still bake us all under three tables at the young age of 88 ... yet I've heard nary a word about this parchment paper.
