Yes, you are correct sir. I may keep posting a few hints now and then to mess with people only half paying attention, so please disregard those

Was planning on getting box #1 to you after visiting Austin this weekend, but won't be able to make it out there due to my dog's surgery recovery. Will plan on sending that box after this weekend. I'm hoping to still make it out to Austin the following week, so those contents will be in box #2.

Also, please note I have taken notice of your desire for local root beer. Would you happen to be interested in cold brew coffee as well?

Not a problem, hope your dog is doing well. Cold brew coffee sounds awesome, I've only had it a few times but I really liked it.

Have you seen the Wisconsin flag?

Actually my hint has some objective basis, as expressed by vexillologists.

Hint #1: I'm shipping North of Mt. Mitchell.
Hint #2: Shipping east of the Grand Canyon.
Hint #3: Route 66 travels through my targets state.
Hint #4: Not shipping to The 13 Colonies.
Hint #5: I not traded with my target.
Hint #6: Not shipping to the 46th state.

Hope my target likes Florida beers and has a loading dock for a porch! :-) Hitting a "G O O D" number of my targets wants, even a "Rare" one. I'm feeling "Funky", craving some "Maple" pancakes and "Bacon", and a nice cup of "Coffee".

Picked up some awesome locals last night to throw in the mix. Still more to come.

If I'm being honest.... It shouldn't really matter.... The better life decision is to NOT dome a bottle for the sake of doming it.... It's basically the sunk cost effect. You've already opened it it doesn't matter whether you finish it or not. I sometimes throw in a stopper and yup it will be a little bit flat, but oxidation doesn't happen over night. Sometimes I'll gasp pour out the remnants of the bottle. I drink beer because I enjoy it not because I have to drink it.

Also as a friendly reminder everyone PLEASE use Seekabrew.com as a reference tool. As much as we all enjoy beer, I'm sure I'm not alone when I say that when I'm building a box I hope I don't receive one that has multiple shelf options from my own distro. Had a buddy in a different group just get a box with a lot of stuff that is local to him...

    END PSA

Just caught up on 10+ pages. Looks like my target has already ruled me out as a sender. That's okay.

Hint: my target has several targets in his area
Hint: I'm sending you some of the best that Michigan has to offer (although your wants is like a Michigan desert)

It matters to me because I don't want to waste the beer, not because I'm wasting my money or feel obligated. Same reason I drank 2 year old Octoberfest beers all day on Sunday... it was either that or chuck em at this point, so despite that I didn't particularly enjoy what I was drinking, it was preferable for me to outright waste.

I know oxidation doesn't happen overnight in a sealed container, but I also know that kegs with a party pump are generally fucked the next day. That tells me that there's a line somewhere between "still sealed" and "forcing oxygen into it by hand pump all night" where oxidation will occur overnight, I just wasn't sure where that line was. With your (and others') feedback, I now have a better idea; thank you.
