    It's snowing today, so everyone got sent home early. I thought I'd crack open one of the Great Lakes Alchemy Hours - oops, I mean the Chillwave IIPAs I bought yesterday (honest mistake there :wink:)...

    What a crazy time of the year this is for IIPAs. This is why I now only buy one six-pack of Bell's Hopslam every year. Because after buying Hopslam AND Victory Hop Ranch AND Troeg's Nugget Nectar AND Fat Head's Hop Juju AND Great Lakes Chillwave, there just isn't much room left in the fridge! Well, I have to make room quick, 'cause MadTree Galaxy High is on the way. Time to get to work...

    Stone Smoked Porter with Chocolate and Orange (2.12). The flavor was unpleasant and full of flocculants.

    UJ is one of my favorite Avery beers... probably my favorite. Tweak is up there too....

    Nice accompaniment song... let it flow... let yourself go...

    That is "a week's worth of beer...."

    And I'm loving the grateful music theme today... I am still "Waiting for a Miracle..." no returned money orders in today's mail either.

    This beer...for the price point? Are you kidding me? I got this bomber for $11.49 and thought it was a STEAL. Aside from maybe Brooklyn's Black Chocolate Stout I can't think of a better top-rated beer for the value:
