What beer are you drinking now? #867

Doing a side by side of Black Albert and Cuvée Delphine.
Nose- Black Albert is better, fruitier and a little more complex.
Taste- Cuvée Delpine is better, barrel balances out to the fruitiness nicely
Mouthfeel- Black Albert gets the edge because it is a little less carbonated
Overall- Cuvée is slightly better, the fruitiness of Black Albert just seems a little too much after comparing it to Cuvée. Both are great and worth the price, can't go wrong with either.

So worth the wait!

Prairie's Limo Tint.

I read the reviews prior to purchasing it, so knew to limit my expectations. Figured it's Prairie, though, so I'd give it a shot. A couple sips in and I am understanding the reviews. It tastes like chocolate water and has a pretty terrible mouthfeel, offensively thin and prickly. It is going to be a challenge getting through this four pack.

Listening to some new Ufomammut. At least the tunes don't suck.

 

Happy to get a chance to taste this.

 

5.6% alcohol. 27 IBU. Brewed in Wisconsin.

Fuck the Hype, I'd drink both. This one is a touch sweeter with residual malt sugars, but both make the hops an impact. So I'd bang both Simultaneously!

Musical Selection:



Morbid Saint had great musical talent...but refused to sell their souls for Mass Appeal. So in the Florida Metal Scene they would rule as Underground Legends. Real Shit.

 

Last years Pt5. Its incredible how smoothed out this beer is with only a year on it. Still waiting to try this years batch. TGIF, Cheers!

 

Ugh- what a horrible morning. Thank God I'm home now and enjoying something I've been looking forward to all day.

Some roads in NYC are just not in good shape, thanks to the crazy weather of the last few months. I swerved from one pothole into another and wound up with a blow-out almost instantly. That was not fun, changing a tire at 6 am on the Harlem River Drive, having to kneel and lay in the dirty slush, as cars went whizzing by.

Oh well- it could have been worse. The rest of the day was actually pretty good, including the ride home, and now I'm having a Blast!
