I don't want to live in any state without founder's breakfast stout, hands down one of my favorite beers.

Shows how laughably out of touch with the demographic these labels are supposedly "targeting" these legislators are. I graduated college a year ago and I can tell you for a fact that picture of a dude with sunglasses and a backwards hat on a beer wouldn't make me, or anyone my age, want to by it. The FBS baby is too creepy for kids to want to identify with anyway

there is a joke somewhere amidst the irony in the NH state motto "Live Free or Die"

The law is silly, but for me it's been bittersweet. No matter where you live in NH, the ride out of state is usually no more than 1 hour. I decided to visit Mass one day in hopes to find the outlawed bottle. I found it, but it also allowed me the opportunity to try many local MA beers.

If true, so much for "Live Free Or Die."

They should pull out of NH and simply come to MD and DE. I've/we have waited long enough.

Banned for having a baby on the label? Stupidest thing I've ever heard.

Yet, when you cross into NH, there is invariably a big sign letting you know how far to the nearest liquor store, and firework stores seem to outnumber gas stations.

We do get Founders Breakfast Stout on draft in NH, so it's not a total loss... plus Maine and Mass. are conveniently close for bottles.

Stupid, you say? What's stupid is the fact that the NH state legislature is second only to the U.S. Congress in terms of largest publicly elected political body in the country. We like to feel important

The NH Legislature is a JOKE! Amateur politicians with an average age probably well over 80, minus the few 18-25 year olds that run for office unopposed and make it in. IIRC, they get paid about $400 a year and a free EZPass for the tolls, so at least we know they're treated well for their efforts.

Was actually surprised to see this thread tonight. I missed it when it was posted back in January, but this is old news. I was still living in NH when Founders started distributing there and remember threads about this on the New England region forums. It's really not a big deal. Kegs still show up and pretty much all of their other releases, including KBS, can be found in NH. Once the legislators bus shows up from the nursing home, they can get to work on changing this legislation.

Yes it did pass and it is likely to land in the Senate Commerce Committee after April 1st.

New Hampshire's motto "Live Free or Die". Looks like they should be changing that motto soon.

You've obviously never lived here or you'd understand. It's because cars are so fuel efficient now. These days you can drive like 350 miles without having to fuel up but it's impossible to drive more than 50 miles in this state without blasting a few bottle rockets out the window. Every morning commute here is like the 4th of July, it's one of the most beautiful things about this place.
