    Agreed, there's a ton of much better D-IPA's out there, obscure to the rest of the community, and those not obscure. Rebel Rouser is rated an "87" which is solid, especially for Sam Adams which is widely available and at a very fair price point. I give Sam Adams a lot of credit for brewing this beer because I know it goes against what Jim Koch traditionally prefers to brew, if you had this one within a few weeks of being bottled (which I did), you might reconsider. I'm not a Sam Adams fan either but having it fresh, in my honest humble opinion, I was blown away. Distribution for Sam Adams is national vs. the local brewer who doesn't bottle any beers and everything poured fresh off the tap and fresh will always win.

    Not sure what sort of abbey Sixpoint had in mind here, because this is insanely more hoppy than anything I've ever had in an ostensible abbey ale style. But however you slice it, hop it, or resin-nate it, it is indeed a big ale, and with that, I bid all a good night, and don't forget to tip your waitress.

    Squatter Wee Peat as I finished up my taxes. Plan on checking them tomorrow when a fresher brain & back are available. Sixpoint Bengali IPA in the hot tub took care of the back... Gonna check out a MST 3K episode that was on PBS tonight...
