My little Sweetnik got married in September. My son-in-law is now part of my tasting group.

 

My stalking is pretty much limited to their wants, hads, and untapped check-ins. But I also read through a lot of their old posts on BA just to see if they have ever posted anything like "I would love to try xxxx". Their want list is a great source but it does not allow them to prioritize your wants. Old posts sometimes have that juicy piece of Intel.

 

Just my attempt at humor, nothing more. Great question though. I have to be more careful because that very well could have been a great covert hint. Unfortunately I'm not that clever.

That is the great thing, I doubt the person quoted has any idea they were quoted due to the obscure nature of the information trail I used to track down the quote...

So it should be said that @LehighAce06 is an attentive lover.
He obviously noted my love for chocolate and the much maligned "adjuncts" in my stouts.
I think literally every bottle that he sent was a want save one that I rated higher than most people and seems to come an go around here so it was a most welcome sight. The luwak was a happy weasel tonight!
And the Tired Hands growler referenced slyly above is *super awesome*. I've had so little from them and I love their beer names their attitude and everybody seems to love all their beer so that growler is super exciting and will put a nice end to my current beer break.

Glad you enjoyed everything, obviously by rating and by volume that is just an amuse, but you're right I did in fact note that adjunct stouts, particularly chocolate, were your thing. Penn Brewing Chocolate Meltdown, and I think another, actually weren't Wants, they're just ones I particularly like.

Alright so this should be pretty much the last give away hint but I'm shipping to a state that hosts a beer event annually that people come from all over to see. If that did not give it away in case my target didn't already know who he was, my targets state has only one NFL team and they are rivals with @PA-Michigander 's favorite team. I haven't seen him post in the last few pages I believe but if he knows who he is, he should like this and let me know he is ok with getting some crowlers of some amazing non stout beers I have access to right now.

Anndddddd I'm all caught up after a whirlwind day of beer (8 hours round trip for yesterday's Casey release followed by a bachelor party when I got back home). No closer to narrowing down my last 7 potential senders, but putting together a warning shot for my target to go out this week...
