    I'm drinking Frangelic tonight too - and it's awesome. I'm glad people are bashing it. More for me. It's a founders beer brewed with coffee, its phenomenal.

    Touche, salesman.

    Yeah, I don't understand the bashing. So, it's not a ridiculous barrel-aged beer or a quadruple-hopped DIPA. That doesn't mean it's not good.

    Another Wednesday night for me me in Madison down at the concert on the square. Doesn't get much better. Started off the night with a Wookey Jack followed by a New Glarus Saison. Finishing off the night with a:

    Got it recently from a friend who had held it from way back when so this was my first time trying it. Thinking it may be past its prime, though certainly worth trying. The bottom half of the glass had an undrinkable chalky residue that wouldn't settle out, but the first half was rich, thick, filled with notes of molasses and coffee.

    It's the 1997.
