    I love it!
I was the target of an attempted porch attack today. Luckily my technologically-advanced early-warning radar (fed-ex alerts) notified me in time to have the artillery re-routed to a fed-ex office. Fortunately, my porch and I are alive, but the poor women at the fed-ex kinkos is walking kind of funny...

VBS--And doing some reconnaissance on the target of a soon-to-be retaliatory, nuclear-caliber, Northern-style, ass-kicking-and-taking-names, porch-crushing, this-battle-is-just-starting, precision bomb. Get ready...

And the contents of the thwarted attack...

I'm pretty sure I'd kill a man before giving up a bottle of DDG  I've managed to have it twice (both times at GABF events, so really just tastes, though it was a decent sized taste the first time I had it at Dr. Bill's bottle share) and have never managed to get my hands on a bottle.

My lost abbey whale is Cable Car right now, to the point that I might just buy it off the grey market lol. Even when I go to Toronado they don't have it for on premise, it sounds like they'll make it available when they feel like it lol

Can't lie, that was delicious lol

Still waiting for the day i do a HF trip. I will be getting some dinner through friends! Im content with never trying wicked sought after beers. I dont believe in trading my entire cellar for a beer someone paid 40 bucks for. I believe patience and good beer karma will award me with enough good beers :grinning:

@UTvols05 why do you have such a hatred of hops? What have they ever done to you? Why, of why are you trying to kill them all?

Received word yesterday that I'd received a box from @UTvols05, partially the second half of a trade we put together, but mostly from a LIF I won of his (yes, my dog is the cutest of all the doggies!).[IMG]
While it looks like it was taken by a toaster (my phone camera sucks, and honestly my picture taking ability certainly doesn't help at all), I can assure you that as I was unloading IPA after Imperial IPA after Double IPA that I was starting to really wonder if @UTvols05 had issues with hops... Couple of these are already in the fridge (especially Didjits, can't wait to crack that open tomorrow, I love me some citrus in my IPA, plus some of my friends were talking up Troeg's Blood Orange IPA which I missed out on).

    Thanks @UTvols05 !

I'll keep an eye on the next time Capone's taps it or does bottle pours, I've had it there twice in the last year, once was at Philly Beer Week, which is pretty soon. If I can make it there with you, you can have my pour too since I've had it (generally it's limit one)

    Round these parts, it will.

You do know Colorado is with the south in this yes? Probably shouldn't have said anything as my cellar still contains the ability to give a good black eye...

    pr0n tiem!

So, @Kylo76 is a devious union soldier. My wife, while I was out of town, made the rate decision to partake from the cellar. She choose my last bottle of Crooked Stave Cassis (can't blame her). Problem is, that bottle was promised to a buddy. After a mass search, this fine northern patsy (from Arizona) became my unlikely benefactor. Easy peasy, one bottle, short distance. Good local brotherhood.

Fast forward to today, when the wife starts hollering (texting) about harboring the enemy (porch incursion), and I come home to this:

That's right, this man has the gall to send me a shit ton of wants, just to spite my poor radon-ridden foundation.

What's that, you ask, easter eggs?

Yep, those were full of candy. I had to fight off my 3-year old tooth and nail for the delicious runts within.

Southern brethren, this affront shall not go unavenged. After this brief (and delicious) #VCS, I retire to ponder an appropriate Rocky Mountain Response.

I got a fever, and the only cure is more #Cowbell!

Probaby should have bought it at toronado when I was there a few years back, I think it was 60$.

@Kylo76 is so good he is fighting wars in the future!

Those dang southerners need to keep their trailor park wrecking tornados to themselves, stop trying to ruin my O's home opener!

Maybe if I drink some southern beers I can appease their twister gods..

No offence, it wasn't taken that way. It was a fair trade $4$ and rarity. I sent my normal amount of extras, he sent the can. All is good...

Choose your words wisely, it was out of respect we decided not to destroy your temp housing project. Keep this tone up and you might be on a grey hound back to Ohio!

That looks almost identical to the box I got -- I suspect both were in process before this geographic rivalry started. The Didjits was really good, and you definitely notice the orange.

And my beer pRon pictures are seriously the ONLY decent pictures I take -- even though I use the same device (my phone) when we are on vacation or anything else, nothing is ever in focus, or the subject is out of the frame, or something else is wrong. But all my beer pics end up fine?
