Two consecutive beautiful spring days. Too bad I had to work today.
Poured Blushing Monk to enjoy with my wife. We were both disappointed. Too sweet for us.

I liked it at first, but it took me 3 hours to drink, literally. And as it warmed, it became more in my face with the spices. A 12 ounce bottle would have been better, or sharing it.

Didn't get everything on my VT wish list today, but with a case of this in the fridge I really have nothing to complain about :grinning:

I do really like it from the can, but rules are for fools.

    Cheers!

This is one I actually found still on the shelf in February. Had to try it not knowing how it might age. A little reminder of Fall is a nice thing in the Spring. Isn't it?

Closing it out with a 2013 FBS. Aging this one is quite variable, some mellow out, but this one is IN YO FACE full of chocolate and coffee...this particular bottle is the best FBS I've ever had...

Work from home days are nice, the commute is definitely less stressful.

I corked it and am hoping my brother will like it, I know better than to ask my wife. Am now trying to wash the flavor out of my mouth with an Old Stock Ale. It's working.
