Huge Formula1 fan, so motorsports gets my vote (even if I do not drink during early morning grand prixs).

Man, you need to get the hell out of dodge. One gets looked at sideways if one doesn't bring beer to the dog park here.

More evidence to hate kickball. The floppers aren't even trying to drink the beer.

I wish I could find it again, but I can't, so... I read an article a couple years ago. A couple of guys recorded every MLB and NFL game for (IIRC) 10 years. Timed the amount of actual action in each game. The average time of action during an NFL game was 6 (+/-) minutes. The average MLB game was 7 (+/-) minutes. Thing is, they show so many replays during an NFL game, w don't realize how much dead time there is.

They are all holding up their scarves, while singing a chant, at the kickball game.

This is more about how we ALL enjoy beer, and many sports, more so then enjoying it with any one sport. (Reds Baseball)

Of 4 major leagues in the US, I only care for the NBA & MLB. American football is a total bore & don't know too much about hockey. So I'll say basketball & baseball. I don't watch much soccer but found it as brooding as baseball.

To anyone that voted soccer, I must agree with you. Because I sure as hell cant watch that boring sport unless I'm hammered so I suppose that's the best sport to pair with beer lol.

But in all seriousness I like drinking when watching any sport, but hockey and football are the most exciting to watch while drinking in my opinion.

I somewhat like cricket and think I would be a fan, but it really is complex. Though I've read the rules and watched the game, I've never watched it with someone who knew the rules and all of the non-rule complexities of strategy and methods of play. So, while I understand the scoring and basic rules of play, I find it somewhat baffling to watch. When they interview players, I have no idea what they are talking about as the jargon is pretty thick.

While wine bars and sports bars are different, a lot of people enjoy both. So I'm not sure it is fair to define two separate groups as wine people and beer people. It is more like sports bar people and non-sports bar people.
