#VCS (virtual crazy share) wife wanted to do what's known as the incline one more time before she turns 30 (1 mile, 2300 feet of elevation).

Wow, still snow...

I hated that thing. Why in God's Green earth would anyone kick up a hillside that needed railroad ties just so people could make it. And then, some with even less brains run up the damn thing. I'd rather take the trail up, look down the incline, then turn around and walk back down the path.

#VBS 2012 is nice right now but I think you are right. This needs at least one more year to be optimal.

Actually, it was all melted when I went up last week. We got a foot of snow yesterday lol. I expect it to be melted within a day or two.

I'm not/haven't been military. Own a small (35 ppl) software company here in the Springs... Love it here!

Was there with the Air Force. Moved out here in 2011. I miss the mountains, but not the drought, wind, and tumbleweeds.

And while I didn't like the incline much, the hike up Pikes Peak is fabulous. You do any of the 14's?

 

VBS - Dat beer without #datglass. Still pretty good though.

 

Mountaineering is probably my all time favorite hobby, despite what @Devman171 says. Pikes peak climb is lonnnnnnnng
