The new sixers have been tasting pretty damn awesome to me. As good as the beer I fell in love with - the one with the little gingerbread man on the label.

Would be awesome as hell to get lagunitas 12 packs of something other than plain IPA. However, I bet they wouldn't move fast enough(for my desire) and so maybe do it as a special release once a year or something .
12 packs of Maximus, lil sumpin, lil sumpin wild, sucks, etc. would be epic!

Well, actually lagunitas wanted to be the first craft beer in 32oz or bigger bottles , why not be the first to put craft in a 30 rack !?!?

Finally got around to picking up a six of this last night....
wow. Blown away yet again by Lagunitas. I was expecting their typical flavor profile from the malt/hop selection. So I wasn't anticipating what happened when I took my first sip. Yeah, it completely blew me away in all senses. So delciious and thant God it's in sixes and not those damn 32oz bottles!! This is one to have in the fridge at all times. Perfect go-to IPA and awesome (once again) for the price.

I picked up a couple sixs of undercover last night....not tropical like Sucks.....but it was still pretty nice! bitter hops with a weird buttery aftertaste.....but still tasted like a Lagunitas....pretty good!

Thanks for the heads up and yeah, I just bought a sixpack tonight, apparently in my area it's just getting distributed this week. Wasn't at a go-to store last night, was at another store by the case tonight.

BTW, anyone in or near western Mass. still wanting Founders KBS, Liquors 44 in Northampton still has a couple of cases. The catch is they want $30 for a fourpack.

Back on topic, I'll be all over the Sucks sixpacks when they reach my zone. But from personal experience as well as from comments here, after the first couple of weeks it hits my market, checking bottling dates will be a must. Like most brews in its genre, compared to fresh, old Sucks sucks, relatively speaking.

Finally showed up in NYC - and my local grocery had it for $9.99/6!

That said, bottles are dated March 12. Is there some sinkhole in Kansas where Lagunitas products get stuck? Some two-week cattle crossing in Colorado?

Still tasting good, I just want to know what it tastes like super fresh! Guess I'll need to take a CA trip one of these years.

    $9.99 a 6 pack in Cleveland

    My Bottle: 092 5 2

"092" represents the ninety second day... "5" 2015 and the "2" means it was brewed in Chicago...

You buying yours in ABQ? You know of any other places that have it? It was nearly two months old when it finally hit our area.

maybe my expectations have changed on this beer. I have bwwn getting more of a sculpin like citrus flavor and aroma. Very subtle, but I find it 100 times more acceptable than the last 32 ozer. I had. Even old regular IPA and Maximus doesnt seem to have the subtle citrus hints that I keep coming back for.. I do agree its falling off slightly. I'm hestiant to buy more. I don't think we get freser than Feb. 17th until we buy up and drink this allotment. This will be sitting until July if we let it

How does one figure out the date on these things? I understand Lagunitas used the Julian calendar, however I can't figure out for the life of me how to apply that to the bottles I just purchase. They only number printed on the bottle reads '50311C2131819.' When does the date stop and the other information start? This is also printed at the bottom of the front below the label, whereas some of what I have read on line would suggest the date should be on e back of the neck (though admittedly all of theposts I've read that suggest that appear to be at least 12 years old). Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I'm wondering the same thing. I'm sitting there looking at the bottom of a bottle of Hop Stoopid trying to decipher smudged black ink on a brown bottle.
