Do you, or have you ever, added anything to your glass of beer?

I also saw a YouTube video of a couple guys using a french press to add toasted coconut to regular BCBS. They seemed very pleased with the results.

Added whiskey to make a boilermaker, and irish whiskey/bailys to Guinness. Other than that, no, but I would like to try it with some beers I've already had.

Yes! Mexican macro beers are famous because they need some fixing. So there´s the usual lemon and salt to the corona. The fancy version with clamato juice and spices. Also a mix of beer with a corn ferment named tejuino called "tejuichela" it also needs lemon and salt. And I could go on all day... I prefer a nice craft but when there´s only macro I fix it.

I put blueberries into Fat Head's Bumble Berry. It's unreal.

I swirled a glass with some maple syrup before pouring in a bunch of Big Bad Baptist. It was actually pretty good.

I've added beer to a bunch of liquor to make a Baltimore Zoo, but other than that, god no. And come to think of it, god no to ever drinking another Baltimore Zoo.

Apparently I'm in the minority in that I have no trouble using a beer as a base for any interesting pairing that pops into my head. It's just beer. No big whoop. Usually I'm using old favorites that I've had a million times. I've tried the following (that I can remember):
    - Bourbon into a cellar temp Victory at Sea - this was awesome and worth trying
    - Red wine into a FIS - loved
    - Various fruits and juices into hefes and wits - kind of a ghetto shandy, love this in the summer
    - Rubaeus into various chocolate stouts - meh, pretty sure I just don't care for rubaeus
    - Various beer cocktails
    Go crazy!

I often put about 2-3 oz. of cold-brew coffee in stouts or porters, but nothing beyond that unless the beer is insufferable.

I agree with those who add a few drops of Bourbon to the brew. Makes a so so Stout more interesting. Doesn't replace barrel aging but it can be a bourbon hammer. Even 2-3 drops is about as much as you need"

Sacrilege and Heresy ! Much like putting ketchup on a steak this is a direct insult to the purity of the product. I consume as it was intended!
