    “dry bready wheat”

    Maria, this was the aspect I did not really enjoy in last year’s version. The bready flavor was too strong for my liking. I finished the draft pint I ordered but I had zero interest in ordering a second pint.

    Needless to say but YMMV.

    "Some complementary bready or grainy wheat flavor is generally noticeable." I think they have improved in this regard.I think you would notice the difference.

    With my supply of IPA's dwindling, I finally decided to take the bait and try this one. Not exactly a game changer, but a pretty solid beer nonetheless at the economical Sierra Nevada price point. With warmer weather and rain in the forecast next week, my backgrounds should finally start changing to green. Happy Friday to all!

    “But wheat is bready yes?” There is lots of “bready” since there is lots of types of bread like pumpernickel, rye, …:wink:

    All kidding aside, the aspect that I did not enjoy was as I posted previously: “The bready flavor was too strong for my liking.” A Berliner Weisse is a low gravity beer style and sometimes it is easy to get the flavor profile of low gravity beers ‘out of whack’; that is a technical term.:slight_smile:

    If I see this beer on tap I will give it another go and I will get back to you.
