    Local done very well...stopped at Bog Iron Brewing that is about fifteen minutes away from the secret home base. A flight of four four ounce pours for five bucks and one two ounce taster.

    Da Honey Stank...a mildly sour pale with a little honey. Tasty, tart enough to be fun, refreshing.

    Rood - obviously a red ale supposed to be lightly hopped and fermented with Belgian yeast. Nothing wrong with it and judging by the growler fills people like it, but to us it was just good beer, didn't get the Belgian characteristics.

    Swiss Mistress - milk stout aged on cocoa nibs. Smells like coffee, tastes like hot chocolate. Super creamy and toasty, yummy beer. Worthy.

    Middle Child - a IIPA. Holy fresh grapefruit batman, is that a citrus fruit in your pocket or are you just glad to see me? Nicely balanced double, just enough bitterness to cut the sweet malty taste. Excellent.

    Stinger IPA - just like Middle Child with the same refreshing citrus, a bit more bitter, and more dry. Very good.

    Couple liter growlers followed us home...we must drink them. Swiss Mistress and Da Honey to be consumed. Liter growler was twelve bucks, refills are eight. A fifteen minute drive for fresh, tasty beer? Yeah...I can do that.

    Check 'em out if you are in the area. Small taproom, but they can do full pours. Lively little place. Seems like local done right to me.

    In honor of the nicer weather now, i picked up a SN Summer Pack at Wal-Mart of all places, and currently drinking a Kellerweis out of it

    Mowed the lawn for the first time this season. After I finished I opened a Blue Lobster Kolsch from Hampton, New Hampshire. Sadly, I broke my Erdinger Kolsch glass just before pouring it so I used this Gilde Pilsener glass instead.

    After 6 hours of weeding, mowing, edging, power washing, taking the air conditioner covers off and running 2 Mother's Day errands this is how I lawn mower beer. All that hard work, this tastes even better, even creamier than usual. Cheers all.

    Triple shot of fine beers....then must hit "pause"

    Before descent into parenthood---we have high school teacher hosting a gathering of marine biology students (my daughter included)...who does this on a Saturday??...interrupts:wink: the BA flow...

    all good...cause and people...all good

    so indulgence happens now (break from 3:30 to 8:30 or so)...then back in the BA-flow

    staying light..hoppily happy I am (overlooking the backyard "summer sanctuary"...once temps warm and pool ready...where much libation consumption will occur)
