I woke up on Saturday to discover someone drank my last '14 KBS. Arguably an even worse feeling than spilling or breaking.

I work at a liquor store. So I shattered a bottle of Ola Dubh Special Reserve 18 when somebody brought it to the counter. It made the front of the store smell great...

The following day I would have been fired for assaulting a coworker.

That's funny because I use my little girl's car seat with her seat belt wrapped around the beer. Isn't there a law somewhere that states beers under a certain age or height, scratch that, ALL beers must be restrained?

This finally happened to me today. I was moving a case and the box slipped and fell on the floor. Two Abyss' shattered and poured all over the carpet. Ruined carpet and waste of great beer. Tear.

Camping with a group of friends a couple of years ago, brought a couple bottles of All Day in my cooler, was looking forward to trying it for the first time during a great outdoor day. So I grabbed one, then walked back to my chair only to realize the bottle opener I thought was near me as gone. Next thing I know a friend next to me grabbed the bottle from my hand and proceeded to break off the cap sans opener, but he broke the top off the glass bottle. So I got handed back a now open bottle but one I could no longer drink out of ..... I carefully strained it into a red solo cup and saved that beer

I can't imagine breaking anything sort of rare. I buy on a limited budget so replacing it would be difficult.

I haven't ever broken any beer. I am always extra extra careful or extremely lucky.

Now I'm sure I'll drop the next BCBS I break out of the celler and break it...

While it wasn't a $25 750mL, I had a six pack of Conway's Irish Ale by Great Lakes Brewing Company in a plastic bag. I set the pack on the counter and lifted the cardboard six pack up by the handle. The handle ripped right off as I lowered it to my side and turned around to open the fridge. The entire six pack fell straight down and four of the bottles shattered and blew glass and beer all over. Total Wine & More in West Orange was nice enough to replace the beers, as the cardboard had weakened due to exposure to moisture, it had seemed.

I did not break it myself, but I had a bottle of Pure Hoppiness included in a trade that happened to shatter during shipping, luckily the dude that called me from FedEx let me come pick up the box directly from the depot because the other 8 bottles were fine.

Had a very close call when emptying out my truck after a trip. Box of beers almost made a tumble. probably would have been the end of a four pack of wake n bake along with some damaged terrapin cans.

Never spilled a great beer, but had a six pack of rolling rock fall out the back of my car a few years ago. Parked on a slope and opened the door, the pack had fallen over and the beers started falling out and rolling down the hill. I stood there in shock while a friend of mine ran down the hill after them yelling "oh no, save the beer!!". Broke down laughing as he carried back a couple unbroken bottles.

Heh, funny to see this thread. Since it reminds me about a month or 2 back, I was at a Target that had poorly labeled the prices of a few 4 and 6 pack beers. I walk over to the closest price check scanner I could find, and foolishly I didn't remove all the beers from the 4 pack of this beer, but just covered my hand over all the bottles. Had a really bad scare when one of the bottles fell out of a 4 pack(but that the other 3 stayed in the pack), and unbelievably the one bottle that fell out didn't break. Put the bottle that fell out back in right after, but I'm sure that I'm on their surveillance camera footage for infinity(or at least till whenever that footage is wiped off a hard drive perhaps more likely, lol) for that incident. Least the worst that happened, is that the beer slightly foamed up inside, but it didn't quite foam up enough to break out of the bottle.

Least I did learn the hard way that I should've removed all the bottles individually, then scanned it on the price scanner. I hate that the barcode was on the bottom of that 4 pack, and which makes it a PITA to scan on that price scanner.

Spilled a Founders Breakfast Stout 3 years ago, not a huge loss, but it taught me a lesson, have not wasted a drop since!

I dropped a bomber of Fat Tug one time, but it's readily available here and not expensive, so yours is bigger.
