All Rogue Voodoo beers are a giant mess. My girlfriend loves hell or high watermelon and I look at her and wonder how she drinks that stuff. She does drink much better beers normally.

I've only had one beer that was a "holy crap this is gross, I'm definitely not having this again" experience so far, and that was Foster's Ale in the green jumbo-can. Worst-smelling beer I've ever had... and on top of that some of the nastiness present in the smell carried over to the taste, unlike every other iffy-smelling beer I've had. I had difficulty finishing the first half of the can and ended up dumping the second down the drain partway through.

First real "drainpour" beer, I suppose, considering that I must have dumped at least 6 or 7 ounces of beer down the sink (I recall it seeming like the glass was still more than half-full, but I can't remember clearly how much more than half.)

 

Hey now, how can you rip a beer that tastes almost the same both down and up? It's a multitasking masterpiece!

It sucked in 97, and it sucked when they released it again some 10 years later. Did they think people would forget?

 

I really had to dig deep and think about this one. I do remember having a Guinness Black Lager and thinking that it was like someone took a full ash tray and dumped it into a beer. My friend Dan couldn't even finish a bottle and I struggled throughout mine and couldn't wait to open something different.
