    Still can't figure out why the score is only an (85) for this beer, it's a glass full of piney, citrus resin. Talking SE PA beers, Dirt Wolf gets all the love and this one not enough!

    I thought the same thing about that beer after I tasted the ones you sent me. I would make that a regular in my kegerator if that was an option! I guess it's proof of what the hype machine or lack thereof can occasionally do with a beer and its rating.:astonished:

    Happy Thursday BA's, I'm excited to share a new beer with you this evening, Field Beer Saison from Kent Falls Brewing in Kent, CT. I've been anxiously waiting to try one of their offerings and was excited to see this on the shelf of my local shop.

    This is a wonderful sour saison, it's nicely sour but not mouth-puckering. Loads of lemon, hay, cracker up front with a nice clean, crisp and dry finish. @cavedave has spoken highly of the head brewer and I must say this is a very promising start. I can't wait to see what follows. Cheers.

    Was very uninspired by my first beverage choice so I had to kick it up a notch (or 5) for my next selection. Never disappointed by a BA FW beer. Making my day a whole lot better. Cheers.
