Ive been impressed with the sour saisons from Green Bench

 

We've actually been getting some Green Bench here in CO of all places, @Devman171 . Delicious stuff. So far I've had the Sauvage (fantastic), Famous Flying Zachinnis (good), and a few Saisons (very tasty). May need to swing by, especially if there's things that haven't made it here...

 

Lots of locals drinking with locals with beer provided by locals this weekend!!

aw Dev thanks for thinking of me I love stickee!!!! LUCKILY my best friends girl friend is in OR for grad school and I am hoping I get a bottle or two. I love that beer!

I am not joking when I say this: you are starting to see Green Bench stuff up in Colorado because the Brewer (co-owner too?) threw a mini tantrum and said the people in Florida are not ready and can't appreciate a good beer so he will start to send beer to places that will appreciate his well-made beer. He mentioned Colorado and San Francisco I think. It was brought up during the Pizza Boy mess where people were showcasing poor attitudes.

 

I'm pretty sure this group is where 60% of the beer I drink comes from, 20% from SWTFTW, and 20% that I actually buy myself.

 

Wow, that's horrifying.

 

My white whale is still meeting one you fine people. I have yet to acquire the coveted #LocalsHandshake

 

Reminds me of the whole Trinity Brewing twitter fiasco a few months back. Dude literally said folks in Colorado Springs weren't educated enough to appreciate his beer. Didn't go over very well...

Hey @treznor I haven't forgotten about you and the box I promised, here there could be some bologna flavored bottles of beer showing up in the next week or two, once I track some down it'll be on it's way.

 

Are you in Atlanta area? Not saying I am anywhere near white whale meeting level however I will be in Atlanta area again sometime in the near future to orientate a new Sales Rep.

There's a small possibility I will be travelling to Pennsylvania or New Jersey for work at the end of July. I will make it a point to meet up with some folks from this group if this is the case!

Yes, live 20 minutes north of the city and work 5 minutes from the city (traffic pending in both cases).

Give me a heads up and I will buy you a beer at one of our many great spots!

 

I just crossed that off my list about 30 minutes ago. I saw @Ncpogs standing in line to check out at Spec's this morning. Jumped in line behind him and introduced myself. Cool guy, can't wait to share some beers with him tomorrow and then also meet some of the other Houston folks that I haven't had the pleasure of meeting yet.

 

Definitely keep me in the loop!

 

Already a successful Texas trip. Just got handshakes from @ajaylock and @rspauldi while going to a Parabola release. Had a nice little haul, and really looking forward to drinking with those guys tomorrow!

 

As disturbing as that sounds, I can't wait!
