What?! I had just told @JNForsyth how well I had done in reducing the amount of bottles I have and now three boxes in three days from people in this thread have ruined my best laid plans.

Well you should have waited if you didn't want revenge! I can't recall if you overpaid via PayPal or were going to send me a label but that's not happening anymore! **** will have to wait until after work sadly.

All I've heard about are horror stories about this place & deliveries. I'll look around after house shopping.

After a whirlwind week of travel and an awesome bottle share last night, I'm doing some unpacking today. Small haul from out west

 

#VBS. Getting this glass warmed up for today, if ya know what I'm sayin..

 

Okay, so from Fedex notifications I knew that for some unknown reason these damn Yanks had decided to attack our little Houston bottle share and had set their sites on my poor little innocent porch. One of the Yanks is a sneaky one and decided to fly under the radar and ship UPS.

I came home from work and did my normal "Honey, I'm home!" schpeal and was met with an unhappy stare. "How was your day dear?" I said as I conveniently ignored the daggers shooting our of her eyes. She rattled off something about it would have been better if she hadn't gotten interrupted all afternoon by a ringing door bell yada, yada, yada. "OH, I got boxes?" I giddily asked not knowing that by interrupting and totally ignoring her self pity rant that I was just digging myself a deeper hole. Then she started barking out something about getting all the damn boxes out of the way before our guests arrived but I only heard part of it as I was like a child just discovering that there were new presents under the Christmas tree.

See, she had been cleaning house all day in preparation for a few friends coming over for the evening and then going out for dinner. I knew there was absolutely no way that I would be able to open the boxes right then because she would see that as creating a mess in her now clean house. So, off to the storage room the boxes went with me pouting and sniffling the whole time. A few shakes here and there I could tell that there was gold in dem dare boxes.

 

Cut to this morning...

Woke up and immediately retrieved the boxes from the storage closet. The wife was still snoring so I took them outside to unwrap. You never want to wake a sleeping bear you know.

First one I opened was from @devilfluff

Next one to get tore into was from @LehighAce06. Kevin was the Yanks spy as he weaseled his way into the BM thread about our share giving some lame excuse about maybe being able to make it. Ya, Ya, sure he would...

Anyway, after opening the box I saw some northern propaganda. Most of it was written in some incoherent language. The only thing readable was the first paragraph on the second document...

Now, our jobs as hospitable southern hosts is to make sure that the lone Yank in the group can keep his cookies inside his stomach this time. And, no, I will not be a participant in the push up challenge. I think Nick can do more than 1 so I don't stand a chance.
