Same dog, new avi... love it!

 

Yeah I really miss my buddy. It's been the better part of a year since we lost him, but I still miss the furry bastard. Not your fault but dammit now you got me sad! Is it too early for a beer?

 

I know the feeling all too well and I remember the story and the honorary dog-themed bottle share you held. He definitely did well during my cutest dog LIF in February.

Sorry for the sad reminder... never too early for a beer if you have the chance!

 

At work till 5, so barring a liquid lunch (which I avoid) it'll be a while, but it's all good.

I assume you're referring to the dog-themed virtual bottle share, though for the anniversary of his passing I've been collecting a few bulldog-themed bottles to have an actual bottle share with (Dog's Bollocks and Coffee Bollocks courtesy of @Mikexw were a great start, but I've been given a couple others since)... either that or that's going to be an extremely drunk day.

I really should gather a few people to help me out. Speaking of I should probably put in for a vacation day on that date now.

 

I'm glad our friends up north finally came to their senses regarding truce. 3 boxes, hopefully going out tomorrow. One to CA (somewhat structured trade), one to FL (somebody down there has a target with a few CO wants...using this opportunity to share some sour love), and one to PA (I'm jonesing for some blackberry sour). Oh, and a box headed to Vero Beach should land tomorrow.

After that I'm going into evil genius mode to finish planning (and tracking down bottles for) my 12-days and AA boxes. Both boxes will be going east, to states that touch one another.

 

I know @blue-dream has missed my avatar as much as I have!

Also, got a new phone and lost ALL my pictures of 2 year old Bauer (my old avatar picture). For the interim, I'll have to go with my totally intimidating 3lb Chihuahua Mali!

At least yours was distinct enough that I recognized it -- I couldn't distinguish one Northern general from another (and I obviously didn't know which Southerner was which).

 

On a side note... I picked up a 12 pack of Perpetual IPA (troegs) cans yesterday, first time getting it since REALLY getting into craft beer (though I had a pour of it at a hockey game a few weeks back but had no way of knowing how fresh it was), and these cans are only ~2 weeks old, and holy hell I didn't realize how good of an IPA I have in my backyard that I can just reliably fill my fridge with... I've been screwing up

Denver Incredible Pedal - I love local canned stuff, think I had a taste of this at @Devman171's place during the Locals BS but it was real early in the day.
Avery Uncle Jacob's Stout - Still haven't tried this yet, was a want.
Russian River Temptation - Big time want!
Jester King Atrial Rubicite - WTF, really?!?! Wow, blown away that I got a bottle of this!
Casey East Bank - Another wow beer, loved the other Casey beers I've had, can't wait to try this one.
Crooked Stave Blueberry Petit Sour & Serenata Notturna - Yum, can't wait to crack these open as well!

Jeremy are you really going back to work after receiving that box, if it were me I would be feeling too ill to go back in! Probably best to stay home and work on that box.
