So a quick update on the box I ninja'd to @JamesShoemaker. I originally sent him a box, to his address on campus, in an attempt to win @jshusc's LIF for ninja'ing him (but more importantly, because I felt bad that no one else already had...) That box was delivered and signed for somewhere on campus, but by the time James made any headway tracking it down, FedEx had already picked it back up to deliver it instead to some "last known address" over 200 miles away... where he hasn't lived in a decade.

I received a call from the current resident of that address, and asked her to sit tight and once I figured out what FedEx would do to make it right I would get back to her. I then submitted a "Lost Package" claim with FedEx and commenced waiting.

Fast forward to today, and finally FedEx has approved the Lost Package claim, and is sending me a check. I'll call anonymous lady tomorrow and tell her to enjoy some less-than-fresh IPAs that she probably won't appreciate.

Once FedEx's check is in my hands, I'll get a replacement box out to James, though he should probably give me a more reliable address first. In the meantime, per the rules of @jshusc's LIF, anyone else can ninja James and potentially still win; after all, my box never actually made it to James' hands.

tl;dr: I tried to ninja James, FedEx failed, I'll try again.

 

Sorry for the delayed reply..been off the grid. Since I didn't specify and since I consider a series to be 3 or more games (2 game series are jokes), this one is going to the Reds and @psbhockey12. You will get a box as soon as I am able to find the time to send it

While it's no longer a LIF. Lloyd McClendon got ejected tonight, and it was fantastic !!! After yelling at the 1b ump. Ran to home plate ump, kicked his hat, and yelled some more. Then ran to 3b ump and yelled at him.

 

I really should make a point to look up a video of that.

 

Except they put up 15 and not a 9 12 or 13
