    As a lover of and frequent attendant of music festivals, it's been a bittersweet couple of days for me. First Hulaween announced their initial 2015 lineup which is stellar, and I've since already purchased my ticket. But then today, news drops that the Bear Creek musical festival has been cancelled. Bear Creek was my first ever visit to the Spirit of the Suwanee Music Park. I am not exaggerating when I say that SOSMP it is quite literally my favorite place on earth, and that the introduction at Bear Creek has in many ways changed my life. RIP Bear Creek, and thanks to everyone who was a part of it over the past 8 years! A little throwback to honor it

    I was stoked to see my neighborhood shop stocking the knee deep. I'm really loving this one. Great smell, doesn't seem like 11+% when I drink it. But it sure does feel like 11.25% when I drink it :grimacing: Definitely one of my personal top IPA's right now.

    After a nice afternoon of applying sexy HD Poxy wax on the car, I am sipping on this. It is surprising different than the other pale ales I have tried from Lagunitas, but every bit as good those offerings. Just different... Give it a try! :grinning:

    Sunset at the RV park (Raton Pass, NM). A very tasty beer obtained at the grocery store today:

    Odell Brewing Co.'s "Myrcenary". Fresh squeezed lemons and tropical fruit (pineapple and mango) nose (honestly, I don't read label until after I write my tasting notes). Semi sweet malt balances the hoppy lemongrass, and tropical fruit flavors. Pardon my French, but this is truly the first time ever I have actually smelled/tasted pineapple and/or mango in a DIPA ; up to now, I figured my old nose/tongue were just shit... this is a damn fine beer!

    Well let me start tonight with this...


    That's right what a morning we had today! Started with getting the mortgage pay off letter via email, then confirmation on closing for June 29th on our house, then my wife's confirmation of her new job at Disney Cruise Lines and then a phone call to let us know the house we applied for to rent before we left last week....the owner accepted our application! This all happened within an hour this morning!!:grimacing::grinning:

    Had to wait until I got home from my son's baseball game for this...BEER ME!!

    Watch out ya goddamn Floridians!! July 10th I'm moving in (Goddamn that's right around the corner!!)! And it will be a sad so long to PA; it was a great 43 years, but....






    Gonna miss quite a few folks around here in PA @jzeilinger @Knapp85 @millerbuffoon ! We definitely had some great times! Always welcome to stop in and visit after I move!
