I see you helped to finally derail that train wreck of a thread about Pittsburgh yet you hold this one together! Man that thread was a tough read. Some really unlikable guys in there.

Oh god. I don't think I helped to derail it as much as others, but man o man. I tell ya. There is so much hate for the Pittsburgh craft scene it's unbelievable. I think it has a lot to do because there aren't whalez to trade for other beers, because no one likes easily available, good tasting beer they could drive/walk to get in Pittsburgh I think.

For those of you asking WTH is he talking about. The mods locked down a Pittsburgh and western pa thread because there was too much bickering. I wouldn't suggest anyone to read it. Maybe 15% is beer relavent. The rest is guys complaining about beer, traffic, etc etc. It needed put out of its misery.

Totally agree with you. All these guys get pissed that there isn't a brewery like hill farmstead nearby that they can trade their beers for 2-3x their value. But when a brewery does a bottle release they constantly complain that the ba stout isn't on par with assassin.
