Yes that is true. I have loved the Birds forever and makes it even better to live in Bmore now and go to games whenever I want. However today I'm in the sticks of Western Maryland. Be back with a brew in a bit.

    .5 acre website says:
Now available in cans March-September, this beer is an India Pale Ale we brewed with coastal spirit.

maybe they slowed production a bit to get the akari shogun out?

Sounds like that might be the case...I saw plenty of Akari Shogun on the shelf along with Lead Feather at most liquor stores I've been to. Hoping people in the area are enjoying Vallejo as much as myself because I'd love to see it brewed year-round. Personally, I think it stands up to some of the best IPAs I've had to date, even some of the Vermont stuff.

It's 93 degrees this afternoon (and getting hotter), I'm off work, and I'm drinking a Laurelwood Workhorse IPA & it's hitting the f-ing spot. I might have another.

Posted a preview of this in "What beer will you be drinking on Independence Day 2015?", but now it's finally done!

This batch is a variant of my other brew, 'Patient Zero'. Same malt bill with an addition of Mosaic hops close to the end of the boil.

    OG:1.063
    FG: 1.012
    ABV: 6.2%
    IBU: 54

Enter, 'Doof Warrior' India Pale Ale. Crazy tropical fruits on the nose, sturdy malt base to support the additional bitterness from the Mosaic hops, and just super drinkable all day long.

Patient Zero? That's a great name. It makes me think of the beginning of World War Z (the book, not the movie). So if you have too many does it make you a zombie?

    Hi there sunshine.

i have been waiting to try this one. It is good. With faint grassy and light smooth malt with that very subtle kiss of weedy hopfunk At finish. Not traditional but a nice kolsch style beer.

    Cheers BA.

How's that one drinking now? Catch much of the chocolate influence on it?

Just want to thank a great man and BA, who shall remain nameless here as I don't have permission to use his name, for sending a crazy generous box.

Just wanted to show off my secret weapon for trading, which is behind the can so use the can for scale. It is a giant roll of packing tape, one I have been using for years and will probably last the rest of my life. Found four of them in the waste stream and pulled them all. Gifted the other three rolls to other BA's. Here is another pic so you can see how much tape is really there.

Just in the mood for this one, hope you dig it too. Cheers!
