C'mon 12 days, I'm ready!

 

Came home to a box from @JNForsyth - a bit dinged up but I'd seen worse. Opening the box I saw excessive bubble wrap, foam, and the beers wrapped in a garbage bag - everything will be fine! When I opened that, the unmistakable smell of delicious hoppy goodness came wafting up to greet me. Ugh.

Near the bottom of the box there was a clearly lighter / sloshier than it should be container... Had to open and survey the damage and ensure there was nothing broken - 32oz growler of Tired Hands Hop Hands... Glass intact but only 2/3 full. I'm guessing the carbonation got to it. Anyways, I tossed it in the fridge and will give it a go later tonight. Hopefully it still tastes as good as it smells.

As for the rest of the box, it looks like @JNForsyth absolutely killed it. A beer for "Day 0" (July 3rd). Two for the 4th (22oz 9.4% and 12oz 13%), and a total of 7 in the double digits ABV. There's also some swag for Day #8 which I have a sneaking suspicion I know what it is (#ProperGlassware). Can't wait to dive in!

Soon grasshopper, these new pretzel bites and the reintroduction of the pretzel crust pizza has me wanting to jump off the tallest building in town. The only problem is it would result in minor injuries.

Ugh, I hate to say this but thank god it was the growler and not one of the bottles, some would be damn tough to replace! As you said in the BM go ahead and open the Hop Hands now and move the beer day 0 extra to that day, I'll see about getting you a replacement growler!

 

Enjoy! I'm glad it arrived safe based on all the issues going on lately. A swag box will most likely be on its way next week. The wrapping paper is actually a table cloth that I destroyed.
