    I've occasionally drank (and finished) a beer I don't enjoy, all while telling myself that I do actually enjoy it.

    Conversely, sometimes I'll drink a beer that I do enjoy way too fast, which ironically makes it less enjoyable.

    haha I even remember (kinda) mentioning that it was so disrespectful to do to a beer that people jump through such hoops to grab.

    Man, I don't know how that beer will taste after you mix them and that may be sacrilege, but that bread should be awesome and I shall defend you to the death for that! Bake on!

    Unless I'm "tasting" a beer, I drink a lot my beers from frozen mugs. I know that's bad mojo on this site!

    I know this is supposed to be about things we do, but please, let me tell ya my story. A couple of weeks ago, my girlfriends brother spends the night. I awake the next morning to find my Siberian Night pint glass ( sent to me courtesy of @WesMantooth ) on the counter top with dried ... yes DRIED chocolate milk residue!!! :grimacing::grimacing::grimacing::grimacing::grimacing::grimacing::grimacing::grimacing::grimacing::grimacing::grimacing::grimacing::grimacing::grimacing::grimacing::grimacing::grimacing::grimacing::grimacing::grimacing::grimacing::grimacing::grimacing::grimacing::grimacing::grimacing::grimacing::grimacing::grimacing::grimacing::grimacing::grimacing::grimacing::grimacing::grimacing::grimacing::grimacing::grimacing::grimacing::grimacing::grimacing::grimacing::grimacing::grimacing::grimacing:

    I drank half a can of Mich Golden Light (all they had) at a graduation party a couple of weeks ago and got so alienated that I switched to bottled water. I drank all the Ommegang in my fridge when I got home.

    1. I have poured Love Child # 3 directly into my mouth after sabreing the bottle.
    2. I enjoyed two MGDs with my softball teammates this week, straight outta the can.
    3. I once drank a Bourbon County Cherry Rye by myself.
    4. I have poured Heady Topper into a glass!

    My mantra is, " Advocacy, not snobbery!"

    twice I've started a pretty good beer celler collection, and then, after awhile,when no ones lookin' I pounce and drink every delicious little bomber I have like that cartoon dog petting tweetie bird, being all nice, then, wham, swallows it whole and burps out a feather, yeah that's me

    A number of times, I have consumed an IPA that was older than 24 hours.

    I turned down the chance to buy Sculpin cans by purchasing Sculpin bottles.

    I called the $14 six-pack of Sculpin a bargain while criticizing the $5 bomber of Hop Stooping as poor value for money.

    I don't want to drink IPA from pint glasses either. If I'm at a party where there's IPA and no proper glasses, I'll actually pour it in a wine glass. Then when someone calls me on it, I'll look confused and act like I grabbed the wine glass in error.

    • I like beer cold --- maybe it has something to do with my location?
    • I don't like Belgian beers;
    • I violate the manly man law and politely refuse beers I don't care for, thereby hurting the delicate feelings of my hosts;
    • I don't really care what kind of glassware I drink beer out of;
    • There's never a time or place for me to drink an AAL...

    I mostly encounter it in these forums.

    While a good case can be made that the Shaker pint glass is not the best glass for drinking beer, like many things, the point gets blown way out proportion by our follow BAs, IMO.

    I usually use style appropriate glassware, but still use may shaker pints on occasions. Especially for things like Pale Ales, Pilsners, etc.

    I thought sharing a good beer with yourself was a right of passage for BA, not sacrilege. :slight_smile:
